Hey there! My name is Sherry Doggendorf, and I'm a UX professional and artist based on the east coast, USA.
I have spent the last several years working in civic tech to help important mental and behavioral health services reach the people who need them most. As a neurodivergent person myself, I have a personal stake in making sure the systems I design are accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Although originally graduating with a degree in software engineering, as a creative and a writer deeply interested in the human experience, I quickly found myself drawn to the world of UX design. I have since applied both my technical and creative skills to designing systems that seek to address real human needs and make the world a better place.
But why Trilliun? The name is inspired by Trillian, a portmanteau of the character Tricia McMillan from Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Although the original spelling is often taken, the alternative has proven readily available, and has since become synonymous with my online brand and identity.
I have long admired Trillian for her intelligence, independence, and wit, and I hope to bring the same qualities to my work. 🚀
